Learning Objectives: • Methods for getting information on a new organization • Statistical tools for using Six Sigma in the business world • The sustainability of improvements with control methods and change management tools • How to identify waste and define a solution for process improvement and cost reduction • Six Sigma approach and how to implement the Define/Measure/Analyze/Improve/Control (DMAIC) methodology Required Materials: Students will need a laptop with windows-based software (MACs are not preferred); if a student does not have a laptop, one may be provided for the duration of the course pending availability.
