Learning Objectives: The basics of RF printed circuits How to approach RF design issues How printed circuits are fabricated and the issues therein Definitions and how to interpret measured data including gain, compression, noise figure, phase noise, third order intercept (TOI), analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters, effective number of bits (ENOB), bit error rate (BER), and isotropic directivity (dBi) Uses and have hands-on experimentation with test equipment including spectrum and network analyzers, power meters, and high speed oscilloscopes Required Materials: None Technical Requirements: None |
