Learning Objectives: • Investment casting and how AM can be used as a secondary process • Sand casting and how AM can be used as a secondary process • Die casting and how AM can be used as a secondary process • Silicone molding and how AM can be used as a secondary process • Composite molding and how AM can be used as a secondary process • Electrical discharge machining and how AM can be used as a secondary process Required Materials: Computer with system components Windows Computer: Make sure your Operation System is Windows 2000, XP Professional with Service Pack 2 or higher, and or Windows Vista Home Edition and higher. To access video content make sure you have Windows Silver Light 4 and Windows Media Player 9 and higher. Ensure you have administrative access or a local System Administrator available if the above requirements are not installed. Macintosh Computers: Make sure your Operating system is Mac OS X version 10.3.9 and higher. To access web content make sure you have Safari 5 or Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and higher. To access video content make sure you have Windows Silver Light 4 and Flip4Mac 2 and higher.
