Learning Objectives: Radar fundamentals and the basics of electromagnetics and scattering Radar cross section data formats, measurement, and modeling High-frequency and low-frequency scattering mechanisms and reduction techniques Radar-absorbing material (RAM) design and use Radar cross section considerations for antennas, discrete scatterers, and propulsion systems Radar cross section requirements and applications for airframes Manufacturing and maintenance requirements for radar cross section reduction Required Materials: This course is classified. All attendees must be US citizens with Secret-Level Clearance and Need-to-Know Certification. Click here for the Need-to-Know Form. No personal items, including laptop computers, will be allowed in the building and no storage compartments are available. Prequisite: Knowledge of electromagnetic theory Technical Requirements: A notebook and CD with the unclassified presentation materials |
