Learning Objectives: Compute and plot the received power and jamming-to-signal ratio of noise jammers and coherent repeaters; Identify candidate EP techniques to counter different types of noise and deceptive jamming; Access potential strengths and limitations of different EP techniques; Observe laboratory demonstrations of jammer hardware including noise generators and digital RF memory repeaters; Recognize EA in high-resolution range-Doppler images; Learn temporal and spectral characteristics of electronic attack waveforms such as barrage noise, spot noise, Doppler noise, velocity gate pull off, range-gate pull off, and multiple false targets. Required Materials: This course is classified. Attendance is restricted to US citizens with the appropriate security clearance and need-to-know. All contractors wishing to attend our Need-To-Know Classified Course must have a US Government sponsor’s/contracting officer’s signature. Research Security will ONLY process Need-To-Know Certification and Clearance Form with the appropriate signature. There will be no exemptions to this policy. Eligibility questions should be directed to 404-407-6661. Attendees must fax the Need-to-Know Form to 404-407-9395. Electronic devices, including but not limited to laptops, calculators, Fitbit and Garmins, are not permitted in the classroom. Limited storage compartments may be available in some locations.
