Learning Objectives: Tools to profile an application for vulnerabilities and how to exploit them; Access control policies implementation as an additional layer of security over an organization’s private data; Suspicious patterns of user behavior to identify bots, intruders, and other malicious actors; Cutting-edge cryptographic protocols to encrypt information being sent over the network; Controlled attacks on web applications; Data analysis techniques to gain insight into how attackers behave when breaking into private networks. Required Materials: Laptop w/ WiFi with 8 gs ram and dual processor (64 bit, no 32 bit). Technical Requirements: Access to Github repository for classroom content and other related materials. Access to Slack application for communication and messenger tool. |
