Learning Objectives: More advanced methods for improving signal-to-interference ratio, emphasizing adaptive interference rejection methods such as adaptive beamforming, ground moving target indication (GMTI), and space-time adaptive processing (STAP); Synthetic aperture radar imaging, including both stripmap and spotlight modes; Single- and multi-target tracking. Required Materials: Recommended Prerequisites: Signal Processing Refresher (or equivalent) (DEF 3521P) Principles of Modern Radar (DEF 3502) Technical Requirements: Course materials. |
