Learning Objectives: • Phased array radar systems, sizing, and performance estimation • Control and scheduling • Signal processing • Phased array antennas and antenna technology • Calibration and alignment • Computer-aided design of phased arrays • Transmitters and receivers • Multiple target tracking • How to use several pieces of antenna modeling software • Multiple phased array radar hardware artifacts, such as radomes, radiating elements, beamformers, etc. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: This course includes these analysis software: • PARSize multiple-function radar sizing tool • GLOBE phased array antenna design tool • LINARRAY antenna pattern and error visualization |
