Learning Objectives: Learn the basic principles of two- and three-dimensional radar imaging; Understand the relationships and tradeoffs between major SAR imaging algorithms; See how SAR concepts and basic calculations are manifested in a variety of systems; Interpret SAR image phenomenology; Avoid common SAR misconceptions; Understand motion compensation requirements and basic autofocus algorithms; Integrate SAR and GMTI modes; Size SAR processors and data links. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Participants receive a hard copy and CD-ROM of the course slides; and Georgia Tech’s “SARCASM” MATLAB tutorial demonstration software. |
