Learning Objectives: SAR overview, including signal analysis preliminaries and a wave theory framework; Cross-range aperture synthesis, down-range pulse compression, and chirp signals; Infinite and finite aperture Stolt formatting; Surface antenna analysis, SAR signal channel models, and SAR algorithms; Volumetric Stolt formatting. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Participants receive a notebook and CD-ROM of course viewgraphs and Polar Format and Omega-K synthetic aperture radar software in executable format.
