Learning Objectives: A range of modeling approaches for RF circuits; S-parameter component models; Transmission Line Method (TLM), Harmonic Balance Method, Finite Element Method (FEM), Finite Integration Method and Method of Moments (MoM); Active circuit modeling approaches to address noise, compression, and harmonics; SPICE nodal analysis, spreadsheet analyses for circuits, and full-wave modeling approaches. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Course book containing compilation of slides CD containing digital copies of course material Computer and software will be provided to the students during the course only. No commercial software will be provided for the students to keep. |
