Learning Objectives: M&S fundamentals from engineering-level to campaign-level models; Radar fundamentals review; M&S of radar antenna functions and applications; Basic modeling of Radar Cross Section (RCS), including Swerling models; Modeling of radar waveforms and their corresponding signal processing; Modeling fundamental radar functions such as target detection and tracking; M&S of clutter and related phenomenology; MATLAB and Simulink programming environments. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Copies of the presentation slides in both a student notebook and CD; CD contains the software models used throughout the course, some useful tools, and other reference material used during the course |
