Learning Objectives: SQL implementation and its uses within a Database Management System (DBMS) Data retrieval and modification in databases using SQL Refinement of SQL queries, using filters to fetch specific data Sorting implementation to ensure a specific ordering for query results Aggregation functions for data summarization Combination of related data via joins, sub queries, and nested queries Creation of models, tables, and views to store data and enhance access to data Setup of keys, foreign keys, database constraints, and data types to enforce data integrity Modification of database schemata for adapting to changes Required Materials: Familiarity with using a computer and adequate typing ability.
