Learning Objectives: SDR overview; Signal processing theory; Communications and equalization theory, including multiple antenna (MIMO); GNU Radio; Universal software radio peripheral setup; Aliasing, nonlinerarities, and fast Fourier transofrms; Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) single carrier; OOT module development, synchronization, and channel tracking; End-to-end systems designs; In-class competition. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Copy of course notes and slides, SDR Hardware, and Labptop computer. |
