Learning Objectives: Patterns, anti-patterns, and modeling guidelines (with an intra-element emphasis) The know-how regarding recognizing and avoiding typical pitfalls Good practices and how to create well-formed models Techniques for analyzing ad-hoc system descriptions and creating corresponding model elements Concrete examples via an introductory open-ended modeling experience Required Materials: Required Prerequisites: SysML 101/201 BLS (DEF 4545P) OR both SysML 101 (DEF 4508P) and SysML 201 (DEF 4509P) Practical experience using a SysML tool Student must provide: Computer sufficient for SysML modeling Technical Requirements: Course notes in digital format |
