Learning Objectives: Why software assurance is important Common failures of software and how to identify them How to integrate software assurance from procurement onwards Static and dynamic software analysis techniques Software resilience and common failures of concurrent and networked applications Required Materials: Recommended Prerequisites: Familiarity with software programming Comfortable with basic UNIX command line interaction Familiarity with Python, C programming languages, and networking concepts Understanding of basic cryptographic concepts and familiarity with Boolean logic Materials: Computer (personal or work device with internet connectivity) Internet connection Technical Requirements: Downloadable course materials (slide decks, lab guides, student handouts) available from the GT campus course platform. |
