Learning Objectives: Understanding of the importance of mission data from an Electronic Warfare (EW) perspective Differentiation between routine, urgent, and emergency MDF updates Ability to list the three major factors that drive the threat content of an MDF and identify MDF content major categories Ability to recognize typical identification characteristics used to display an emitter/threat Ability to demonstrate the ability to calculate a threat’s lethal range Ability to (given a sample threat list) utilize a generic MDF Generator to assign emitter identification criteria to threats Ability to evaluate an MDF against threat identification expected results Ability to associate the correct Electronic Countermeasure Technique for a given threat type Ability to demonstrate the ability to calculate Jamming burn through and Jam Threshold Ability to (given a sample threat list) utilize a generic MDF Generator to assign Jamming techniques to threats Ability to evaluate an MDF against jamming assignment expected result Ability to identify the correct expendable for a given threat type Ability to demonstrate the ability to calculate a threat Radar’s Resolution Cell Ability to (given a sample threat list) utilize a generic MDF Generator to create and assign expendable programs to candidate threats Ability to evaluate an MDF against expendable program expected results Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Student will be issued a laptop, with access to lessons and all course material Student will be provided a Course Handbook (hard copy of all Module slides) Student will utilize textbooks (as referenced in the Syllabus) |
