Learning Objectives: Basic characteristics of business/commercial IT as foundation for comparison Understanding of unique requirements of reprogramming facility IT Understanding of network security devices, protocols, and basic network architecture Understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) Cryptographic concepts to include public key encryption. Air-gapped network use cases and security considerations Understanding of unique hardware and software requirements for RF IT support Understanding of data distribution and delivery methods to tactical users Understanding of aircraft mission data upload procedures Hands-on cyber security experience through use of Try Hack Me (THM) platform Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Student will be issued a laptop, with access to lessons and all course material Course Handbook (hard-copy of all Module slides) will be available for students Student will utilize textbooks and software (as referenced in the Syllabus) |
