Learning Objectives: How to develop and implement an energy control program for their workplaces. How to do an inventory of energy sources so that they will be able to write out specific isolation procedures for their company’s energy control program. Ability to list and describe the training and communication requirements for “authorized,” “affected,” and “all other” employees. How to describe the periodic inspection audit requirements. Activities that are considered covered by OSHA’s 1910.147 Subpart J (lockout/tagout) and what activities are not covered by the LOTO requirements An understanding of activities that are and are not covered by the LOTO requirements. Learn how to identify and discuss violations of lockout/tagout requirements. Required Materials: Participants must present photo identification upon course check-in and onsite registration. The Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center will verify the identity of each individual attending an OTI course. Technical Requirements: Course notebook |
