Learning Objectives: Aerodynamic, propulsion, weight, and flight-performance consideration; Examples of powered missile; Problems of interest through one-on-one and roundtable discussions; Typical values of missile parameters and the characteristics of current operational missiles; Subsystems and technologies for missiles and the current/projected state of the art. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: Copy of course slides provided to each attendee. The textbook, Missile Design and Systems Engineering by Eugene L. Fleeman ISBN: 978-1600869082, is an optional purchase and can be ordered at the time of registration for $125. Textbooks will not be available for purchase on the day of the course. |
