Learning Objectives: Write various lengths of essays that demonstrate unity, cohesion, and support. Write paraphrases and summaries of articles or passages from articles. Write in-class responses to writing prompts under time limitations. Write with a command of all basic grammatical structures, including word order, verb forms, noun usage, clauses, phrases, punctuation, and capitalization, with allowances for minor, localized errors.
