Learning Objectives: -Learn the principles of unified, complete, and cohesive writing. -Practice the principles in short written assignments (required) -Write and revise (at least two times) three paragraphs. Two of the three assignments are not graded, but they must be corrected and revised until they contain few grammar errors and follow the principles of writing stated above. -Write one essay that applies the principles; it will be graded after one revision. It must generally follow the principles above and contain no serious grammar errors or errors that interfere with meaning. -Write an extended paper of 7-8 pages (prerequisite for passing this class and getting a certificate). The paper must apply the principles and go through a minimum of two revisions. If the final paper has more than five errors per page, it will be considered a draft and may not receive a passing grade. Required Materials: Technical Requirements: |
