Learning Objectives: remember and understand writing concepts o understand steps in writing a multi-draft essay o recall and identify devices that create unity and cohesion in essays o understand strategies for avoiding plagiarism apply & create with grammar concepts o compose (or combine sentences using) compound, complex and compound-complex sentence structure with minimal errors in regards to sentence structure and order at a sentence and paragraph level o specifically, compose or combine sentences using adjective, adverb, and noun clauses as well as reduced adverb and adjective clauses with minimal errors in regards to clause/phrase structure and order o combine sentences using fanboys, transitions, and prepositional phrases) o compose each of the three dependent clauses: adverb, adjective and noun clauses with minimal errors in regards to phrase structure and order.
