Learning Objectives: Identify and produce vocabulary expressions that are appropriate to use in specific everyday situations. Request and explain what you need in specific everyday encounters. Manipulate rhythm and intonation of speech in everyday conversations to approximate patterns that native speakers of English use in those types of conversations. Use appropriate non-verbal cues to enhance your message in everyday conversations. Devise questions and answers to “new” everyday situations or “new” developments in an everyday conversation.
