Learning Objectives: Use strategies and techniques that are useful for reducing anxiety before and during an oral presentation. Use strategies and techniques that are commonly used to enhance the effectiveness of presentations for American audiences (e.g., use of voice, non-verbal cues, etc.). Prepare, organize and produce an effective oral presentation that describes or explains a specific point of view about a topic (e.g., a presentation that informs). Prepare, organize and produce an effective oral presentation that presents a specific point of view and persuades the audience to accept this point of view. Create effective power point slides to accompany presentations.
