ELEC 2001A - Antenna Engineering Basic |
Explore the theory and practice of modern antenna
engineering, including a range of antenna types,
applications, and electromagnetic properties from
basic to state-of-the-art. Study a wide spectrum of
frequencies from 550 kHz to 550 GHz, (including the MF,
HF and Millimeter Wave frequency bands) with primary
emphasis in the VHF, UHF, and microwave regions.
The Antenna Engineering Basic course will present the
fundamental building block antennas. Examine
communications and radar, commercial, and military
applications. The Basic course will also present an
overview of computer modeling of antennas, and
application to portable and vehicle mounted antennas.
