Laser radar (LADAR) is an active remote sensing technique
with many applications, and is used to acquire
environmental data, including polar ice cap thickness and
forest biomass. In this Introduction to Laser Radar course,
learners will gain an understanding of this essential
technology. You will learn about active remote sensing
systems, such as the various types of laser radar, their
main components, and their performance limitations to
apply to real scenarios in the field.
