DEF 3513R - Fund SAR Sign Proc (21 hrs) |
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging has become
a critical technology for remote sensing and tactical
and strategic surveillance in both commercial and
defense applications because of its ability to combine
high-resolution two- and three-dimensional mapping
with all-weather visibility. This course is intended
for engineers and scientists with previous knowledge
of basic radar systems and technology. Students
will achieve a thorough understanding of the basic
principles, methods, limitations, and tradeoffs of
modern SAR systems and signal processing.
Recommended Pre-requisite(s):
Previous knowledge of basic radar systems and technology.
