Gain hands-on communications systems knowledge! The
Software-Defined Radio Development with GNU Radio
course will comprehensively cover developing software
defined radio (SDR) communications systems using the
GNU Radio signal processing and development environment.
The course is structured so that concepts and theory can be
instantly translated to practice with hands-on
implementations using the Universal Software Radio
Peripheral (USRP) SDR platform. All hardware will be
provided. Learners will discover all of the necessary
building blocks to become proficient SDR developers,
including signal processing and communications theory,
as well as Python and C++ concepts required for GNU
Radio development. The course culminates in a class-wide
radio competition.
