This upper-intermediate reading course consists of
skills-building practice in reading for general
understanding and detailed information. Through
discussion, newspaper and magazine articles, and textbook
selections, students develop techniques for analyzing
content, guessing unfamiliar vocabulary, drawing inferences,
and increasing reading speed.
